Yes, we have been selling masks since resuming clinical activities in June however our sales are definitely up since the unfortunate recent resurgence of COVID-19 numbers. We had gotten off easy with a sizeable stash of inventory last sewn in early June... but alas the Canadian Sweatshop is back in action with the summer heat turned up! As always: ... All masks are pocket masks ... All masks are made of washable high quality quilting cotton ... ... We offer your choice of Ear Loop Elastics or Paracord Toggle ... We offer four sizes S (age 3-6), M (age 7-12), L (Ladies/Teens), XL (Men/Larger Ladies) ... We offer a HUGE selection of fabrics to suit pretty well any taste While there are still some old stock on the wall that are two-layer masks, all new inventory has been made with three layers (built in filter inside while still remaining a pocket mask) since late May, 2020. This change was inspired by Dr. Deena Hinshaw's long awaited directive that non-medical masks ideally be 4-layers. Given that our masks are pocket masks, this allows you the benefit of an extra layer of protection and the choice to increase to four layers by using a disposable filter. Another benefit of the 3rd layer is a crisper mask that keeps it's form while covering your face so that you do not suck the material into your mouth when you breathe. Please click on the photos for details of what fabrics are currently available in each size. Once you choose your mask, we can usually turn it around with your chosen finish (ear loops or toggle) by the next day... sometimes same day if I'm not working in clinic. Please also understand that inventory levels vary from day to day as sales occur and the pictures in this post are a snapshot as of today's date. It is a complicated process to keep both my home and office spaces safe environments for both clients and myself.
