We’ve gained some new friends lately so we thought it was time we formally introduce ourselves! We are BODYWORKS ACTIVEWEAR: a mother & daughter team based in the GTA (Toronto and Richmond Hill, to be exact). We always wanted to work together, so when the pandemic came along some things fell apart, we took it as an opportunity to start something new and close to our hearts. My mom has always been an amazingly talented fashion designer, and has decades of experience workin...g with the unique fabrics that go into activewear, swimwear, and dancewear. She knows them like no one else and is the true creative genius behind the scenes! (A childhood spent doing ballet and figure skating also probably helped!) I’m Jessica - @jlp18018 far less talented than my mama, but starting to flex my creative skills in other areas, like marketing, content, and website shtuffs. I have a cat named Gustavo and a lot of plants , and I love yoga , puzzles , food , and travel We make super fun, pretty, & different activewear for the #fitnessfashionista in all of us - yet we are ALSO obsessed with high-quality materials and comfortable pieces for women to live, relax, and work out in!
