Hi Here is the Holiday Menu for Home Delivery for Dec 21-27. Soup #1 ROASTED CHESTNUT, LEEK AND PARSNIP SOUP. Adapted from Love Soup, Anna Thomas. Ingredients: Chestnuts, leeks, shallots, butter, olive oil, dry sherry, parsnips, celery, veggie stock, milk, sea salt, black pepper, cayenne.... VEGETARIAN/GLUTEN FREE. A rich tasting and distinctive soup for the holidays. Garnish with toasted chopped pecans and cream. Soup #2 SEARED BROCCOLI AND POTATO SOUP. Adapted from Melissa Clark. Ingredients: olive oil, broccoli, sea salt, butter, onion, garlic, black pepper, red pepper flakes, potatoes, lemon, parmesan rind. VEGETARIAN/GLUTEN FREE. Searing the broccoli adds a layer of caramelized flavour, while preserving the fresh green taste of the broccoli. Soup #3 ROASTED GARLIC LOVER’S WHITE BEAN SOUP. Adapted from Farmgirlrecipes. Ingredients: white beans, rosemary, thyme, fennel seeds, bay leaf, garlic cloves, turnips, onions, potatoes, carrots, sea salt, black pepper, parsley. VEGAN/GLUTEN FREE. Garnish with chopped parsley. This is a hearty soup. Roasting the garlic adds tremendous flavour. Soup #4 ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH WITH PEAR & GINGER SOUP. Adapted from shelovesbiscotti. Ingredients: butternut squash, buttercup squash, sea salt, black pepper, olive oil, onion, ginger, veggie stock, pears, bay leaf. VEGAN/GLUTEN FREE. Garnish with seeds and sage leaves. A pureed soup. Soup #5 PERSIAN DRIED LIME AND LENTIL SOUP. Adapted from Food52. Ingredients: onions, coconut oil, red lentils, basmati rice, dried limes, cumin, coriander, turmeric, veggie stock, cilantro. VEGAN/GLUTEN FREE. Garnish with chopped cilantro. Dried yellow lemon is a unique flavour making for a great soup.
