COVID-19 Update March 27, 2020 Our office is temporarily closed until further notice. Following Premier Fords recent orders, public health agencies and our regulatory college, the closure of non-essential businesses will help curb the spread of the CoronaVirus. The easiest way to communicate with us during this closure is to leave a message at our office 613-482-9808 and messages will be checked regularly. If you are experiencing a true emergency (oral-facial trauma, sign...ificant infection, prolonged bleeding or pain which cannot be managed by over-the counter medication) please reach out to us or your dentist. Until our office is able to re-open, here are a few tips for caring for your teeth in between now and your next visit: 1. Clean your teeth multiple times a day. Keeping your teeth clean is important no matter the situation. Follow the guidelines below to ensure youre doing the job well. 2. Use what you have at home. ... You likely have all the supplies you need already. A little water, your toothbrush, some floss and toothpaste go a long way. Rinse your mouth with water after drinking a sugary or acidic beverage. Brush your teeth and gums after every meal or snack. Floss once a day. And dont forget to look in the mirror to make sure youve cleaned thoroughly each time. We hope you are all staying safe and healthy! We have had some concerns about people running low on elastics. Taped to the window next to our entrance, there are bags of elastics. Please look for the specific ones you use and take what you need :) Once we are able to re-open, we will reach out to all of our patients who had appointments cancelled in order to give new appointments. Please take care when choosing what you eat, to avoid breakages. Keep your teeth clean, and wear your elastics! All of these things will help us stay on track with your treatment. If you have run out of elastics, we have left some taped to our window. Please take what you need! We are all taking the advice to stay home very seriously so there will not be anyone in our office. Please message us in Messenger if there are any urgent matters. If it can wait until the office re-opens we will be happy to address your concerns at that time. In the meantime, stay safe!

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic and in accordance with Public Health recommendations: Effective immediately, we are suspending all non-essential and elective orthodontic services. We will be available on an emergency basis only. These measures will be in place until further notice and likely at least until April 2, 2020. If you are experiencing an emergency, please contact us through Facebook messenger or at 613-482-9808. An emergency means: you are in pain and yo...u are unable to fix the problem on your own. We kindly request that if you must come to the office for an emergency, only one parent/guardian attend the appointment to try to limit the number of people in our office and to protect everyone who enters. If you are comfortable sending your child into their emergency visit alone, we kindly ask that you wait in your car while your child is being attended to. For our patients who have appointments March 16- April 2 we will call to inform you of the cancellation. We will discuss scheduling plans with you. This is an unprecedented situation and could change rapidly. We will provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your understanding and lets all do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
