We just made another batch of delicious apple cider for you to enjoy on this Thanksgiving weekend. There's lots of choice in apples at this time of year. We'll have Paulared, Lobo, Silken, McIntosh, and Cortland apples available at the Summerside Farmer's Market this Sat.
The Cortlands are ready and their colour is exceptional this year. We'll also have McIntosh, Lobo, Novamac, Silken, and Paulared apples for sale at the Summerside Farmer's Market this Saturday. There will be more freshly squeezed apple cider for you to enjoy.

This week at the Summerside Farmer's Market we'll have Quinte, Yellow Transparent, Vista Bella, and Jerseymac apples for sale as well as lots of cold, refreshing apple cider. One of reasons we summer prune is to get more light into the trees which improves the quality of the fruit and helps it colour.
Don’t forget to vote this Friday and Saturday. We can do this... #krafthockeyvilletynevalley #ralleyforthevalley
Summer pruning is winding down just as the early harvest begins. The Vista Bella apples are starting to colour and there should be some ready this Sat. at the Summerside Farmer's Market along with more August apples and lots of cold, refreshing apple cider.
The new crop of August Apples (aka Yellow Transparent) will be ready this Sat. at the Summerside Farmer's Market. They're still quite tart but great for baking. Naturally, we'll also have lots of cold, refreshing apple cider; a few quarts of red currants; and some rhubarb.
Look what I found! I don't know what bird builds this small, basket shaped nest but I discovered two of them in the orchard this July while doing the summer pruning. Brady's Farm will be at the Summerside Farmer's Market this Sat. with cold, refreshing apple cider; red currants and some rhubarb.
Hopefully we'll have some gooseberries and red currants at the Summerside Farmer's Market this Sat., July 25 along with a good supply of cold refreshing apple cider.
