As you can see from the infographic attached below, Real Estate finished strong for the month of December, ending the year for 2020. Compared to December 2019 the number of houses available on the market in December 2020 decreased by 24%, which is a positive as this means that inventory is moving. Sales in December 2020 increased by 35% compared to 2019. With the new year starting and the market standing strong, now is the ideal time to list your home as inventory is moving. This weekend, I had my 9th annual Turkey/Ham Giveaway. Things were different this year due to Covid-19, but it was still a great success with 120 turkey's and hams handed out. Thank you to all of my clients who were able to come out. It was great to see you all from the safe distance of your vehicles! The year is more than half over, and although we all faced a lot of challenges, the market continues to still move in a positive direction with homes continuing to list and sell safely. Looking at the graph I provided below, you’ll see that we are up in units sold for this year and down on units available. Although we are heading in to winter months shortly, this is still an opportune time to list and buy as the inventory is low, meaning finding a home is still in high dema...nd.
