These are helpful resources for a variety of activities that can be done from home during a time where we are seeing an increased amount of physical distancing. They include a range of activities starting for children ages 4-7 up to resources for adults. Providing spaces for people to connect, grow and belong is so important to us, and our members help us do the same. Thank you all for continuing to connect with Between Friends and for coming out to our virtual programming this year. Your enthusiasm, creativity and positivity during 2020 has been truly energizing and inspiring. So...cial and recreational programming is so vital to reducing feelings of isolation and building connection with one another and we missed our in-person programming so much during 2020. The year 2020 brought with it many interesting challenges that no one really saw coming. At Between Friends we had to adjust our plans and our programming to accommodate the restrictions put in place due to COVID-19. All our staff worked incredibly hard to continue to provide valuable programming while adapting to doing so in a virtual setting that required different approaches to being inclusive. It cannot be stated enough how much work they put in this year and how vital t...hey were, to ensuring a successful transition to working from home in 2020. Our staff, volunteers and donors deserve a huge thank you for creating an atmosphere that allowed Between Friends to continue providing service even if we were unable to be in person. Your commitment to Between Friends has been so valuable this year and it truly allowed us to help our members connect, grow and belong. This dedication will allow us to continue to adapt where needed in 2021 and get back to in-person programming as soon as possible.
