Park Park is live! Located in Inglewood on 9th Avenue, the transformed surface parking lot is now a bright, engaging space for the community to come together and play. Alongside partners like the City of Calgary, Tourism Calgary, Calgary Arts Development, Downtown Calgary and many others, we're excited to announce Chinook Blast, a six-week winter festival in January and February that celebrates our city, our Canadian winter and our diverse communities.

Today we're excited to welcome Harvest Builders into their new office space inside the East Village Experience Centre. For 8 years, the building has served as a neighbourhood information hub. Now, it's evolving with the community to enable innovation, technology and entrepreneurism.

In partnership with Calgary Parking Authority and Platform Calgary, we are delivering an innovative and future-focused project that will combine 500+ parking stalls across 7 levels with a space for innovators called Platform.

Earlier this year, our team carried out the Event Centre Engagement Strategya process to solicit ideas and input from Calgarians on their expectations for the visitor experience and the programming offered in and around the facility. The engagement results that uncover Calgarians’ aspirations for the Event Centre have now been compiled and are available to read in a full report.

The 9th Avenue Parkade & Platform Innovation Centre is taking shape! These photos show the construction of the building’s suspended ramp, which is accented and supported by 4 trusses. Spanning over the underground LRT tunnel and water main, the ramp will help create a unique outdoor space and courtyard for users to enjoy.

Since completing the Rivers District Master Plan with Calgary Stampede in 2018, we’ve been turning vision into reality for Calgary's Culture & Entertainment District, a 286-acre area in east Victoria Park. The 20-year master plan imagines The C+E as a vibrant, mixed-use community that draws on the spirit of entertainment that resides in its DNA. Alongside our partners at City of Calgary Your Local Government and Calgary Sports & Entertainment Corp, we’re excited to announce the project team that will lead the design and construction delivery of Calgary’s Event Centre. Blending local and international experience, DIALOG and HOK have been selected to lead the design of this catalyst project for the Culture & Entertainment District.
