Your Calgary RATH came out of this years NRL Awards with some hardware! We wanted to send a big congratulations to our very own @sd.bruvall for Top Scorer and MVP, @breabeck for Top Goaltender, Trina, Paul, Susan and Jeff for receiving the award for Top Coaching Staff as well as @j.exner for her nomination of Top Centre. We can try truly say we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to play with and be coached by some of the best. These awards get tighter every year with so many deserving players nominated as the game continues to grow and evolve. Congratulations to everyone nominated, we can’t wait to see you all out on the ice next season.

Although we are all a bit bummed out today we wanted to lighten the mood with a little throwback to Friday of Nationals last year. A 10 minute mini game vs @waterloowildfire_nrl that went into not v one but two sudden death overtimes. All of the feels knowing we solidified a shot at the championship

A disappointing ending to an incredible season. The 2020 National Ringette League Championship has been cancelled due to the ongoing concern with the spread of COVID-19. We have had a truly amazing season, finishing with a 23-1-0 record, 22 game winning streak, and 1st place overall in the NRL. We were all extremely excited to defend our national title in Ottawa this year, and are devastated that we won’t get the opportunity to do so. We would like to take a moment to thank everyone for the ongoing support year after year. We would not be as successful without you. We’ll see you next season!

Our favourite part of the season is here! Countdown to the 2020 Canadian Ringette Championships in Ottawa has begun and your Calgary RATH are hard at work after our most successful regular season ever! After dropping our second game of the season RATH went on a 22 game win streak to clinch our place as one of the 8 NRL teams competing for the National Title. Keep your eyes out for RATH updates this month and for webcast links to watch the games next month!

.......... it’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN!! We are heading up to Edmonton on Sunday to finish off our regular season with 2 games against @nrlrush !! We wanted to take a minute to say GOOD SKILL to everyone competing in AA Provincials up in Edmonton this weekend, especially to our RATH teammates who are coaching. We can’t wait to watch and support our local organizations that help support and cheer us on all year!!

To our young superstar Ann Sauve who competed for the Junior National Team and is now a world champion, we could not be happier for you. A lot of us have been playing ringette for longer than you've been alive, and we know this accomplishment is just the beginning for you. To our Senior National Team athletes; you never cease to impress us on and off the ice, with your drive, your heart and your countless contributions to RATH and the ringette community not only in Calgary but across the country. Your effort will never go unappreciated or unnoticed. We are so grateful for the opportunity you give us to fall in love with our sport and we could not be prouder to share the ice with you. Ung - as one of the youngest members of the senior national team your journey is one to admire. We have watched you grow so much over your last 2 seasons with us, and you are very quickly becoming an impact player in the NRL. Brea - When we look back at our 2019 National Championship, it is absolutely unarguable that you were a monumental piece in our victory. There is nothing but trust and confidence when we have you behind us. Shaun - Our MVP. There are no words to describe the pride we feel when we watch you on the ice. Nobody plays the game quite like you. Being able to play alongside you is an absolute privilege. RATH is so lucky to have all four of these phenomenal athletes on our team and our hearts are full thinking about continuing this season with them. #weallloveeachother

Last night we ran an information session and practice for our U19AA teams to give them the opportunity to see what a typical practice is like in the NRL and give them some more information about our program. Can’t wait to see some of these faces in the league in the next few years!
