A while ago I commented that I was going to retire. However, I don’t think I’ve done that yet. I’m currently writing a book albeit-somewhat slowly that is intended to provide an evidenced-based model for stepfamily therapy. This will provide a therapeutic foundation for family counsellors and therapists who work with these highly vulnerable clients. What topics, issues and techniques would recommend be included? like to see included ?

Family counselors and family service professionals who understand ambiguous losses and complicated grief in stepfamilies are better equipped to work more effectively with stepfamilies. Understanding the differences between first families and stepfamilies is one way to gain an understanding of the grief and loss issues experienced by stepfamilies
