We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As always we are very thankful for all the support given to us throughout the year. We spent a little time today spreading some Christmas cheer.
We put the new hall to good use this past Tuesday practicing some ladder rescues and rope training.
A huge thank you to McCain Foods Carberry and the McCain Foundation for their generous donation toward the construction of the new fire hall.
Well 2020, you sure tried, but despite COVID, and a thunderstorm during the Class of 2020 Grad Parade, I don’t think these kids will forget this. I know we won’t! We almost made it through the parade, but the storm forced us to pile everyone in to the new hall. We ended up with a group picture there, so that will have to do. Congratulations to all the grads, we look forward to great things from you all!
Well Town of Carberry North Cypress-Langford, you guys did it again! Thanks to you, we sold 500 breakfast sandwiches! The support that you continue to show us is awesome. Despite the changes and the pandemic, we had a very successful day. Thank you!
Breakfast is served! Come down to the fire hall and get a ham and egger and 2 hash brown patties for $10. Contactless drive thru, or call the hall at 834-6607 for delivery.
Get down to the fairgrounds for free French fries in support of Cancercare Manitoba! We are here from 5-6:30.
Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow between 7 & 1 for a different style of Fireman’s breakfast. If you’re coming down for contactless drive through, please approach from the west on 4th ave. We will be there directing traffic. Call us at 834-6607 anytime after 6:30am and we will deliver to you. (Within 3 miles of Town).

Tonight we are conducting a controlled burn just south of the fairgrounds.
Today is International Firefighters Day. A huge thank you to all of our members, past and current, for their service and dedication to our community! Whether it’s an emergency, training, playing Challenger Baseball, helping out with community fundraisers, our own fundraising, or a lights and sirens happy birthday visit, complete with singing, our men and women are there. Happy International Firefighters Day to all departments!
Tonight we responded to our third grass fire of the week. Please use extreme caution if you need to burn. Despite the way the weather has been, the fire risk is high.
We made a stop at Maya’s for her 6th birthday as well. Happy Birthday!
Here is one of our visits from last night. Ethan turned 3 and was pretty excited! Thanks to Clyde, Kevin, and Jay for belting out the tune!
This week is National Public Safety Communicators Week. We would like to give a big shoutout to all of the Dispatchers in our E911 center in Brandon. These men and women are the ones behind the scenes that take your calls when you need us. They are the ones who hear you when you are having possibly the worst day of your lives, and they are professional, compassionate, and poised through all of the panic they hear on the other end of the phone, all while making sure the help you need is on it’s way. It is a pleasure to be able to work with this amazing group of people. Thank you for all that you do. You truly are the unsung heroes of the emergency service.
Our third and final visit for today was to Madison! Happy Birthday!
We made the trek out to Melbourne for Brooklyn’s big day!
Happy Birthday Lawson!
Big thanks to our very own three tenors; Mike, Steve, and Dell for their majestic voices tonight. We are now up to 13 bookings over the next few weeks! If you know someone that would like a visit, please pass this on. We also would like to thank Jacquie and Kate for coming along with the ambulance!
Our second stop of the night, happy belated birthday Abbey!
Well, we have decided to get on board with the Birthday drive-by’s with our fire trucks! You can contact us and we will arrange a day and time, and provided that we have the people to do it, and of course barring any emergencies, we will come by your house and wish your child a happy birthday! Please text Grady at 204-212-0634 or message us on here to start the process. For response reasons, these visits will be within our fire protection area only.
