Congratulations to our newest members, consisting of four Campus Safety Officers, a Communications Operator, and a Staff Sergeant, as they completed their virtual onboarding training week on Friday! The members will now be joining their Coach Officers/trainers as they embark on or continue their careers in public safety with Campus Safety Services. The new hires all bring a wide variety of frontline and supervisory experience in community safety and emergency response with agencies and organizations from across Canada. Ottawa Police are investigating four separate deaths (all non-suspicious) in the central area of the city in the last 24 hours where overdose is suspected.
