2020 - What a year! Who could have predicted what would unfold? 2020 marked my th year in Real Estate and the first two months the real estate market was off to a good and steady start. I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate my Anniversary with many of my clients who have continued to support me over the years. #thankyou Then the pandemic hit and I thought, how will I be able to help my people? As the world went into lockdown we all learned how to do everything dif...ferently, including Real Estate. We were fortunately declared an essential service, and I was able to guide my clients safely through the process of buying or selling, despite COVID. I was able to assist 19 sellers, 10 buyers and I was able to find realtors for 3 buyers in other areas to assist them as I would if they were staying local. All in all 32 families were served with gratitude for their trust. This marked my best professional year ever. It was also the year I was able to give back more to my community by delivering a complete Thanksgiving meal to families in Niagara. I was once again able to participate in both the Salvation Army "Adopt a Family" Christmas program , and Adopt a Grandparent which allowed me to adopt 4 seniors through this initiative that brings gifts to seniors in retirement homes. I once again achieved the Director's Platinum Award with Royal LePage, putting me in the top 5% of my marketplace. I also received the Award of Excellence for having 5 out of the last 7 years at a level of 10% or higher in the marketplace. In October, the Government passed a bill to allow real estate professionals to Incorporate, which I applied to do in November. This was something my Mom had always wanted me to do, ironically the bill was passed the same month I had to say goodbye to her. My Mom was my biggest supporter, cheerleader and advocate. So in a year marked by professional achievement, personally 2020 was one of the hardest. I am so blessed everyday to do something that brings me so much joy, by helping people buy or sell their single largest, most personal investment in life - their . SO thank you 2020 for allowing me to continue to do what I love. Welcome 2021 - My mission this year is to help 40 families and continue to make my Mom proud, by treating everyone as she did - like family. #helpingyouhome
