As we pause to reflect during this holiday season, we recall the year behind us with an abundance of changes, trials and unexpected discoveries. We also focus on successes within our community and prepare for the year ahead with intent to celebrate more success! So, 2020 success highlights: - 4 store front businesses opened... - 1 cottage business officially opened - 1 restaurant business revived their drive thru-take out window - 1 business expanded into the tourism and hospitality industry and opened for overnight visitors - Our digital marketing campaign about a summer weekend in Saskatchewan's OUTBACK had a reach of over 136,000 people and resulted in some direct business interactions - 7 volunteer fire and rescue department members completed level 2 National Fire Protection Association training, offering our community even better emergency services - The official announcement of a new K-12 school for Carrot River, with a date We know there are more!! The CRED Board has always been a home for like minded individuals who believe in the merit of working together to be stronger together with the knowledge that the work will produce dividends that will pay now and far into the future.
