Beginning on Tuesday March 2nd at 7 pm. I will be starting a Zoom Course in which we will be studying Fr. James Martin, s.j. latest book: Learning to Pray. Each... session will cover one chapter of the book. I will send out a precis/outline of each chapter to participants in advance of each session so as to help facilitate your reading and as a guide to structure each session. Here's how he describes the book: "It is written for everyone from the doubter to the devout, from the seeker to the believer. It’s an invitation for people who have never prayed. It’s designed for people who would like to pray, but are worried they’ll do it the wrong way. It’s meant for people who have prayed and haven’t found it as satisfying as they had hoped. It’s also aimed at people who might be afraid of prayer." If you think this sounds like you and would like to participate, send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you a link to join in. Looking forward to seeing you there! Fr. Tim
Folks: I'm both snowed in and locked out of the Church this morning. I will try to celebrate the Mass this afternoon. If I am still unable to get in, I will go online at 1 pm with the Novena Prayers to St. Joseph.

Our Christmas Masses are quickly filling up! The 5 pm Mass in St. Joseph's is now completely booked, but there's still space available at the 7:00 pm Mass. Similarly, the 5 pm Mass is Chapeau is rapidly filling (about 50% as of today) so once it's filled the only options remaining will be either at 7 pm or on Christmas Day at 10:30 am. Finally, while I still hold out hope that I will be able to find a priest to celebrate an earlier Mass in Sheenboro at this point in time the Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 pm. If I do find someone to help out, that Mass will be moved to 5 pm. So don't delay! Call the parish office (819-689-5757 Monday-Wednesday; 819-689-5232 Thursday-Friday) and reserve your place today.
