- FROM BMP HOSPITAL FOUNDATION - Dr. Pincott, a volunteer unlike any other: It is with great pleasure that the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Foundation would like t...o introduce you to an exceptional volunteer, Dr. Robert Pincott. A former family doctor, Dr. Pincott is known to have delivered a great number of Cowansville's children. Although retired, he has never really left his workplace and is still involved in the activities of the Hospital, along with his wife who volunteers in the Auxiliary Boutique. Of all the projects organized by the Foundation, it is the Bike-a-thon that drives him most of all. For each edition, Dr. Pincott builds a fantastic team of riders and donors. In 2018, thanks to their motivation, "Les amis du Doc" presented a cheque for $29,000! Added to the funds raised by the event itself, the organizers of the BOUGE BMP MOVE have raised a total amount of $50,000. In addition to his commitment to the Bike-a-thon, Dr. Pincott has been involved for many years as a BMP Hospital guide for visits of high school student interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. He also works as a benefactor by regularly donating wooden toys that he makes himself. Finally, as a member of the Committee in charge of the Petit Musée BMP, he likes to act as the museum's curator to anyone eager to learn more about each object in the museum. It is increasingly difficult to find people who are willing to give their time to a non-profit organization. Fortunately, within the Foundation, we have many volunteers on whom we can count over the years. We are privileged to have a Dr. Pincott to support us.
