We just want to take a second and thank the INCREDIBLE team at Cariboo ART BEAT. Tiffany Jorgensen, Sarah Sigurdson and Brittany Murphy are three amazing female... artists who chose a creative way to support our agency this Christmas. Cariboo ART BEAT auctioned off these amazing paintings, with proceeds going towards our mentoring programs here in Williams Lake. Check out some of the masterpieces below!) If you want to check them out, please visit their amazing gallery of original art, prints, commissioned art, and murals. Feeling a little cooped up? The trio event offer paint nights and art classes! Again, there are hardly truly words to describe how thankful we are to have such talented women in this community helping our youth during such a difficult time. We really are #BiggerTogether

Thanks again for your continued support, -Williams Lake Studio Theatre Society **ORIGINAL POST** Dear members, patrons, and friends of the Williams Lake Studio Theatre Society, As many of you may know, our current home in the old Glendale Elementary School is in the process of being sold. Over the past several months, we have met with representatives from The Cariboo Regional District as well as The City of Williams Lake. They believe that our little theatre is as important as we do, and they want to help so that we can continue to bring everyone the joy of community theatre. Here is where we need your help. The CRD and the City of Williams Lake Joint Committee are having a meeting in January to discuss our potential future as well as what they are wanting and willing to do to help us as a Society. What we are asking you to do is to write letters of support. Why is The Williams Lake Studio Theatre Society important to you and our community? What does local community theatre mean to you? What has being a part of this society done for you? This can be special memories, history of the Studio Theatre, what the Studio Theatre has meant in your life, for example. A compilation of these thoughts will be presented to the CRD and City Joint Committee Meeting. Letters can be sent in any means that is most comfortable to you. Here are some examples: - email to [email protected] or an Executive Board Member - Facebook or Instagram message WL Studio Theatre - physical letters that an Executive Board Member can pick up (send us a message to let us know) - phone our President, Stacey Poirer, at 250-267-2158 Letters of support will be accepted up until January 15th. Thank you in advance for your kind words. We have an amazing community. Sincerely, Williams Lake Studio Theatre Society

Today would have been our 10th annual Earth Friendly Holiday event, but we had to cancel for this year. Instead, we made a cute (and by cute, I mean it actually... includes kittens!) instructional video on how to make the wreaths we do at our EFHE event, so you can make them at home. All you need is an old de-spoked bike rim, some wire, and some festive greenery and accents to make your wreath. CAST: Brianna van de Wijngaard (Communications Coordinator) Amber Gregg (Program Coordinator) Jenny Howell (Executive Director/Water Wise instructor) Oliver Berger (Chief Green Officer/Waste Wise instructor) HUGE thanks to Jenny's son, Sam Tudor, for putting this video together for us! Happy Holidays, everyone
