We are still looking for a home for Oliver and Winston! These boys would love to be home for the holidays and have heard marvellous things about a tree that lives in the house and how fun they are from their foster friends! At almost 6 months old, these two will brighten up the holiday season of any household with their mighty antics. If you or someone you know would like to bring these boys home, please contact Carolyn at [email protected] or Jennifer at [email protected].

Miss Bea trilling and happy to see her favourite person! Such a daring jump!

Miss Beatrice is single and ready to mingle! Bea was ready to go home but her adopter never got back to us, leaving Miss Be a in adoption limbo for awhile. Now we feel that enough time has passed to be fair to her adopter, Bea is back on the market! Bea is a shy sweetheart who needs some time to warm up to you but once she does, she will be your shadow! Beatrice LOVES other cats, tolerates dogs, and has been around calm children. She needs time to warm up to new people but on...ce she trusts you, expect head bunts galore! Beatrice needs an older buddy in her new home if she is going home without a sibling in order to help bring her out of her shell. She must go to an indoor only home (especially so because she is so skittish around new things and people and could easily get lost) where she can blossom into the beautiful flower she is meant to be. If you think Beatrice would be the right match for you, please contact Carolyn at [email protected] or Jennifer at [email protected] to request and adoption application!

Introducing Miss Maisie! Our most recent addition, this little darling came to us underweight and very hungry but so darn cute. After a few days of learning that people aren’t all bad, she has really blossomed into a sweet little lap-cat. Be warned, she is a spitfire when she gets hyper and is known for some mad kitten zoomies! Maisie is only about 6 weeks old so she isn’t ready for her forever home yet. Stay tuned for see her progress and to find out when she is ready for us to play matchmaker!

Feline Facts Kitties world is not black and white Cats have much better vision at low light levels than humans. Coupled with whiskers give your cat the sensory tools he needs to navigate in shadowy surrounds. Yes, that means your cat can see better at dawn and dusk than you can. But on the colour front, human vision can detect more. Cats, like dogs can certainly see colour; they can pick out blues and yellows but have trouble differentiating reds and greens.

Our temporary Junior Assistant Social Media Manager, Beatrice, is happy to help out with the page until she goes home! She is such a pleasant volunteer and always fun to work with.

Today’s Kitten of the day is Miss Persephone! Persephone is a beautiful girl and she knows it! Always one to enjoy being admired, she is aloof like any Queen. Although being held is not on her list of priorities, if you manage to catch her, she will be come a lovely ball of purrs. But be sure to respect her boundaries and let her do her own thing; she will let you know when she wants love! Persie is good with other cats, aloof around strangers, and knows a thing or two about... calm, cat-savvy dogs and isn’t afraid of no canine! Kids are a bit overwhelming for her (they move very fast and that is scary!) but with enough calm guidance, she could get along with them. She loves her big sister, Ophelia, and her little brothers, Winston and Oliver. It is important she go to an indoor only home as she has been inside for the majority of her little life (and she can be shy and has a habit of disappearing when she wants to be alone!). When Persie goes home, it needs to be with either a sibling or with a family that has a cat pal waiting for her! If you are think you would be the right person for the job, that is, as Princess Persephone’s live-in servant, please contact Carolyn at [email protected] or Jennifer at [email protected] for an adoption application form!

Although it’s late, because today is Black Cat Appreciation Day, we wanted to highlight our two sweet adoptables, Winston and Oliver! They are playful little guys who would love a home where they can help rule the roost and cuddle up together after a long day! If you are interested in adopting these boys, please contact Carolyn at [email protected] or Jennifer at [email protected] for an adoption application!
