Our beloved friends and family near and far, As Thanksgiving is around the corner, we have so much to be thankful for... And among so many things that we are blessed with, we are so thankful for the love and support of our friends and family (as well as those who couldn’t make it this year) for coming out and helped celebrate Chopsticks on Pho’s 8th birthday & our 8th Annual Giving Back to BC Children’s Hospital on Saturday, September 26th a huge success! In these trying ti...mes that we are in, we honestly didn’t have any high expectations and could only hope for the best. Yet we were deeply touched and completely blown away by the tremendous amount of kindness, love and support from our community, friends and family like we have never seen before! Because of your kindness, compassion, generosity, love and support, (and of course with proper social distancing practices, health and safety guidelines that every single one of you so strictly followed), we were able to give back to our wonderful B.C. Children’s Hospital half of our sales proceeds + your generous donations totalling to $2407.50 It has been exactly 1 week and we apologize for this late post, please forgive us. From the very bottom of our hearts, we owe our community, friends and family our deepest gratitude. We absolutely could not have done it without you. Thank you for keeping loving us and supporting us through the good times and especially through these hard times. You are the very reason of our existence, we love you! And last but not least, many thanks to our amazing Chopstick on Pho team for all your hard work, cooking and serving all day long while wearing masks and still smiling! Although it could get very hot working long hours with their faces were covered, we hoped everyone could still see the beautiful smiles in their eyes! May God bless us all! It’s a promise and a yearly tradition that we have kept and fulfilled for the past 7 years. Because of unprecedented times that we are in, we’ve been contemplating if it’s possible to keep our tradition this year. After many careful considerations and planning, and because, it... is now and more than ever, our gratitude to our community and especially to our frontline heroes is an immeasurable debt we can never repay, we have decided that our annual tradition must go on... Please mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26th from 12pm-8.30pm to help celebrate Chopsticks on Pho’s 8th birthday as we give back. Rest assured that we will adhere to our beloved Dr. Henry’s advice and guidelines to make sure that the health and safety of every one and our team members is our utmost priority.
