The Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies is running their third annual CASIS West Coast Security Conference: The Shape of Contemporary Conflict on November 23-27, 2020. Its objective is to establish CASIS Vancouver as a leader on issues pertaining to the dialogue of security on the West Coast. The conference will feature security practitioners and academics from around the world discussing topics related to New Policing Approaches in an Info Rich Era, Data Driven Defence, Technological Innovations in Intelligence, Terrorism and Extremism in the Age of Social Media, and New Norms in the Security Ecosystem.

Terrific overview of Canada’s Indo-Pacific future written by CIC Victoria member (and a past president) Hugh Stephens. And, importantly, a major addition to CIC's foreign policy website, Open Canada.
