Payments can be made online, by mail or in-person at the County office. Please keep in mind online payments often take between 3 to 5 days to process. An early winter view on the Vision Quest hike with the David Thompson Highway in the background. This is a pretty steep climb of ~ 6 kms round trip with part of... it being a scramble, but there are amazing views once you get above the trees. The trail head is located at the Cline Waste Transfer Station west of Nordegg ~40kms or just east of the David Thompson Resort. Visions Quest is a challenging climb with an amazing view every step of the way. Please note that November 6, 2020 is the last day to pay Clearwater County property taxes without penalties. Tax payments, for all assessed property, must be received by Clearwater County by 4:30 pm on November 6, 2020. If payment is not received, an 8% penalty will be applied to all outstanding taxes. An additional 4% penalty will be applied to all outstanding tax balances on December 16, 2020. Combined Assessment and Taxation Notices were mailed June 12, 2020.
