It looks like we made some new friends today - so thought now might be a good time to introduce ourselves! My name is bekky, and my partner Keith and I are the... duo behind @cardboardrealityfarm & @cardboardrealitystudio. We met 12 years ago when interning with @breadandpuppet in Vermont, and have been together on this art and agriculture journey ever since. We're multidisciplinary artists and animators by trade, and after graduating from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at @concordiauniversity (@animconcordia) in 2016 we moved out to my family's farm in #northumberlandcounty Ontario to start our studio & garden. In the years since we've moved here we've run a market garden for five seasons, done animated music videos and contracts for a variety of inspiring clients, opened and two years later closed our brick and mortar studio space in @downtowncobourg, and had many adventures in running a small business. Keith planted a forest garden while bekky completed her MFA at @ocadugrad, and through it all we've had the great joy of being surrounded by our animals and nature. This new online phase of our business and shop is exciting, and full of many new lessons, but we're thrilled to be able to share our goods with you, and to provide a little bit of fun from our world in this weird time. @burnhamfamilyfarmmarket will not be at Cobourg Farmers’ Market Saturday morning, but will be back for the final three weekends in October. In the meantime will be operating normal hours Friday-Sunday, but will be closed on Monday to enjoy the holiday with our families
