Our Neighbourhood Watch Director, Brad Zalkowsky, will be hosting a Zoom meeting tonight with representatives from the Neighbourhood Watch organization. If you're interested in how we can all take part in making our community a little safer, please join us! The meeting is tonight, December 3 at 7 pm. Zoom meeting details are in the attached Event.
We would like to remind that shovelling or pushing snow from sidewalks into residential roads or alleys violates municipal bylaws and results in a fine of $250, contributes to Unsafe Driving and Walking Conditions, increases the cost of providing winter road maintenance and can lead to blocked storm drains. Let's keep each other safe ;)
Looking for HELP. Do we have any contractors in our Community? The Hudson green shack got broken in over the weekend and we need to find a contractor to replace the door and doorframe. Any interested contractor please email our president at [email protected] and she can meet you onsite for a visit and discuss the quote.
Please be advised that the outdoor rink at Hudson Park is closed while we prepare the ice for the winter. The base layer needs time and cold temperatures to cure so we've got good conditions for the rest of the season. Please be patient - we'll let you know when it's ready for use.

The City of Edmonton has launched an engagement around the Zoning Bylaw Renewal Initiative. Twelve discussion papers that explore various aspects of zoning and the Zoning Bylaw, and provide the preliminary thinking and direction for the bylaw's regulatory framework will be posted on Engaged Edmonton, four at a time, starting July 13. These papers provide an approachable entry point into the world of zoning and all Edmontonians - from developers to the general public - can fin...d a topic of interest. An Overview of the Discussion Papers and the Philosophy of the New Zoning Bylaw have been published along with the first four discussion papers. These two documents will help participants better understand how to engage with the papers, why the new Zoning Bylaw is needed and what outcomes the new Zoning Bylaw will support. It is strongly recommended participants read the Overview of the Discussion Papers and Philosophy of the New Zoning Bylaw prior to engaging with the discussion papers. The first four papers are: Agriculture and Rural Zones Commercial and Industrial Zones Direct Control Zones Overlays Participants will have until August 7 to review and provide feedback on the first four papers. The next series of discussion papers will launch on August 24. A schedule for their release is available on the edmonton.ca/zoningbylawrenewal. https://engaged.edmonton.ca/zoningbylawrenewalinitiative
