Colchester Legion Stadium Public Skating - Phase 2 plan All Skaters must pre-register by emailing [email protected] . Staff will take contact information- Name a...nd Telephone number for contact tracing purposes. Face masks are mandatory while not participating in on ice activities. Skaters will enter the Stadium through the front door and exit through the side door. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to skate. No food & beverage is to be brought into the facility. Personal (filled at home) water bottles for participation in activity will be exempt. The lobby area will be restricted to flow through traffic, please do not loiter in the lobby. Skaters are required to follow the COVID-19 Daily Checklist, it is important to closely monitor your health and the health of those you care for. Ice is ready to go tomorrow for the start of our soft opening

Town of Truro Colchester Legion Stadium- Soft opening on August 17 At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, all arenas in Truro and Colchester County closed their... facilities to the public in March 2020. We are happy to announce that the arenas across the region have created a multiphase reopening plan. This includes the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex, The West Colchester United Arena, Rath Eastlink Community Centre's Credit Union Arena, North Shore Recreation Centre, Deuville's Rink, and the Colchester Legion Stadium. Upon review, it was determined that the Colchester Legion Stadium would be the first to prepare ice for a soft opening on August 17, 2020. Phase 1 for the Colchester Legion Stadium will be a two week period, at which time it will be evaluated based on user demand and compliance to health protocols. All phases will follow strict public health guidelines and align with best practice public arena policies, while supporting approved return to play plans. Truro Parks Recreation Culture

Terry sprinkler finished up the sprinkler system upgrade, and And Enviro-Wash clean the arena floor , Time to start up the plant and get the floor cooled down so we can start making Ice
