Last night was our Annual WRKC Awards Banquet. Many amazing drivers and people were recognized for their accomplishments during the 2019 season. We came into the year knowing that a full race schedule was not in the cards. With me having surgery the night before race day #2, Jake and Ciarra refusing to leave my side, and knowing that Ciarra was starting university in September in an extremely demanding program that would prevent her from being at the track on weekends. In a ...tough field of racers Ciarra Collison missed three full race days and still managed to finish 3rd in the final points. That accomplishment is unheard of! What an amazing season girl! Ciarra also was named the most improved Sr. Medium driver last night, was the fastest Sr.Medium and was presented with the fastest lap award as well as received the Best Appearing Kart award. Congratulations Jake Collison on your Masters Championship last night. Jake had an outstanding season after coming out of retirement for the 2019 season. Jake also won the 2019 High Points Award. and the Masters Best Appearing Kart award. Accomplishing all this while working extremely hard as the president of the club! Special thanks to our long time friend Kristopher Frederick Martin on being there for us through thick and thin! We would not have been able to do this without you. Collison Racing brought home 5 out of 6 Class Championships last night. WOW, truly amazing!!! To all of our customers and friends, congratulations on your season! We hope everyone had a fun, exciting summer and we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
