This week is National Volunteer Week and we would like to take the opportunity to recognize and to thank the many contributions of all of our volunteers at Community Centre 55 and in our community. Community Centre 55’s programs and initiatives, would not be possible without the support and dedication from our volunteers. The success of our programs, events and services rely tremendously on our volunteers and would not be possible without you. Thank you for your incredible su...pport. During these unprecedented times, our volunteers and volunteers everywhere have stepped up and offered their time, skills, support and resources to help in so many ways. We sincerely thank you for your dedication and incredible acts of selflessness and above all kindness. Your passion for our community, your neighbours and helping each other is truly an inspiration. Join us on tomorrow on Wednesday, March 11th at Beach United Church for our 2nd Seniors Active Living & Lifestyles Fair. This FREE event will be a day full of workshops, active classes, exhibitors, lunch and refreshment. No registration required.

A special thank you to Kirk Dunn, his team, all of our volunteers and those that attended the Knitting Pilgrim show and fundraiser on Saturday. A HUGE thank you to fundraiser extraordinaire and 2019 Beach Citizen of the Year, Vicky Tsorlinis for making this event happen, exceeding all expectations and raising funds for the seniors programs at Centre 55.

Parents enjoy an evening out! Drop off your kids at Community Centre 55 for an evening of fun! The evening will include games, crafts, a hip hop dance workshop with UGOT Active Kids and a pizza dinner!
