Dying on hospice during COVID... I was called to assist Teena and her husband Jorge nine months ago. Nine months is often how long it takes to die... consciousl...y. It was a glorious journey with it's mountains and valleys and breathtaking days of peace-filled awe. But yesterday, the expression of God that has illuminated this world as Teena, left Port Earth for her voyage beyond. Even with restrictions, her family were able to prepare her body, to honor her with a home funeral and say Goodbye. It was a glorious affair, tender, personal, beautiful. I'm feeling so blessed to have the opportunity to serve in this way.
