Meet the therapists week wouldn’t be complete without this smiling face. When I first started this program, my mind immediately went to Kiyoko as the perfect fit. I had first met her in 2011 when she passed me during the Hatley Castle 8km road race (www.islandraceseries.com) and we kept running into each other ever since. She has a degree in Psychology and worked as a social worker previously. Her compassionate and calm nature make her an excellent therapist and resource in the head injury program. Kiyoko wears many hats around the office and in life: she is an expert sewer, runs HR for a local tech firm, auntie extraordinaire, and the organizer of all things social. We are thankful to have her!

Meet our Therapist: Shawney Lefley Vancouver Island and the Comox Valley have always been my home. I discovered my passion for Eye Care in 2016 as a Certified Optometric Assistant and am very excited to have finally found a place that allows me to build on my prior knowledge and and help others in a meaningful way. ... I have trained with Dr. Vinge in the field of Vision Therapy, and am midway through my formal certification as a Vision Therapist. In the office, I am known as the organizational pro but on my off days you can find me exploring the beaches and trails with my two four legged friends: Mars and Macey!
