Check it out! Foundation and basement were completed last month on this addition. We used Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) to construct the basement walls for this project - our personal favourite way to form basements. ICF saves time in the forming stage and improves insulation value and energy efficiency. After filling with concrete, the walls were finished off with a Blueskin sealant layer and a waterproof protective dimple membrane before backfilling with soil. Framing is well underway now and we'll share photos of that soon! #foundation #ICF #basement #warmanddry
