Recently, we have seen a viral article going around trying to sell a "NEW" invention that heals chronic low back pain . . Somehow it's the new magic solution to heal your lower back and it is backed by 5 clinical studies . . So I did my own research on the subject... It's 5 very low quality studies... . . So I dug in deeper for my patients... and EASILY find a BETTER QUALITY RESEARCH... . . And guess what..? . . "The results of this study did not show promising effectiveness of NMES for patients with CLBP after 4-week treatment." . . Moral of the story? Even if you see a neurosurgeon promoting a product to be the magic cure, you must be diligent... . . P.S.: Do I think NeuroMD is useless?
