Extreme Hail Damage repaired at Concours using PDR (Paintless Dent Repair)

Concours Collision Centres 22.09.2020

Some things to think about as hail season approaches in Southern Alberta. What is PDR? Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the process of dent removal using specialized hand tools and a massaging technique where technicians apply pressure and leverage to the backside of the panel. The vehicle is returned to its pre-damaged condition without disturbing the original factory finish, therefore PDR is an eco friendly choice as body fillers, sanding or painting are not required. PDR can... be used for removing minor door dents, hail damage, and some collision related dents. We can also remove dents in motorcycle fuel tanks. My car was damaged in a hail storm. What do I do now? Contact your insurance company and notify them of the damage. All insurance companies follow their own repair procedures depending upon the size and severity of the storm. You may be advised of an assessment centre to take your car to for a quote, or in some cases be directed to Concours Collision Centres directly www.concours.ab.ca to arrange a suitable time and location for an assessment of your vehicle. What happens when my car is assessed? The Concours hail team will quote the damage to your car, noting any conventional repairs (such as paintwork) or parts to be replaced. A formal quote will be given to your insurance company for approval to commence repairs. The Concours team will then book your vehicle in for repair. We recommend you keep in contact with both your insurance company and Concours at all stages of the claim and repair process. How long will it take to repair my car? The repairs can take from as little as 2-5 days depending upon the amount of damage to your vehicle. Repairs will take longer if conventional repairs are required. What happens if my car also needs some paintwork? Concours Collision will work with your insurance company to complete all repairs including any paintwork and replacing all damaged parts to factory standard every time and all repairs are fully warranted. Benefits of using PDR for hail damage Concours on staff technicians have over 24yrs experience in the Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) industry Completely Green process - 100% eco friendly The only method of repair that can maintain the original factory finish Faster process allowing for quick turnaround time Less intrusive to your vehicle No grinding, cutting, welding or filler products are used in the process so these "risk" elements don't exist The only way to retain your vehilces pre-damage resale value Uses a combination of traditional hand-skills and cutting edge techniques and tools which allows us to repair most dents without the need for paint Lifetime warranty on all Concours Collision repairs Is the preferred method of hail repair.
