So I've been introducing my son (9), daughter(6) and wife to Dungeons and Dragons and it's been a great time so far. The adventurers arrive at their very first Inn and get a room for the night. Son: "I want to go down to the front desk and ask for an extra pillow!"... Daughter: "Me too!" They head down to the common area, and the desk/bar is being looked after by the innkeeper's 10 year old daughter while he sleeps. I have them roll charisma checks, and my daughter succeeds. Innkeeper's Daughter: "I don't have any extra pillows but you could have mine if you need it" Daughter: "Thanks" *she then pretends to sleep with extra pillows* LOL, it was pretty cute and funny.
