Register online to attend the Candidates Forum. Due to COVID restrictions, only 80 can attend the event. However, it will be live streamed so everyone can watch it from their homes! While one candidate has decided to remove themselves, we still have 4 great people vying for two positions on council. Educate yourselves and make sure you make it out to vote!

No quorum for last night's regular council meeting - therefore, a meeting could not be held. As a result, a special meeting has been called for Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.

I’d like to apologize for my absence at the previous Council meeting, last Tuesday. For personal reasons, I was unable to communicate my absence in a timely manner, which would of allowed council to reschedule the meeting. Due to the upcoming by-election, we need all 3 members of council present to make quorum, otherwise no business can be attended to. My sincere apologies to those whom were in attendance from the public, our Mayor and Deputy Mayor and members of administration. We will be having a full Council meeting tomorrow, September 8th with the public portion beginning at its normal time of 7:00PM. Thank you for your understanding!

TOWN OF CROSSFIELD 2020 COUNCIL SUMMER RECESS Town council will be taking a summer recess from July 22 to Aug. 31. This means there will be no regular council ...meeting Aug. 4 or Aug. 18. Council will resume regular meetings Sept. 1. If you have a matter to discuss with council and would like to be placed on the agenda, you must submit your request in writing to the administrative assistant by 4:30 p.m. the Thursday prior to the council meeting.
