With a week left in the competition, we have an exciting announcement regarding our Lawn Decoration Contest! Thanks to King's Independent, Fallowfield Tree Farm and the Richmond Fair's Homecraft Committee, we are able to give additional prizes to our top three winners! Our new additional prizes include: A beautiful gift basket from King's, a gift certificate for a pre-cut 6-8ft Christmas Tree from Fallowfield Tree Farm and a lovely array of preserves (and more) from the Hom...ecraft Committee. Our first place winner gets first pick of the prizes, our second place winner will get second pick, and our third place winner will get the final prize. There is still a week left to enter and we hope to see everyone participate! We've seen some great lawns that haven't entered yet. Best of luck to everyone!

Good afternoon everyone! Today the judges of the Social Media Lawn Decoration Competition have received the prize ribbons! As of today (October 8th) they have been sealed in plastic baggies and will not be touched so that we can distribute them safely to their winners on Halloween! The Richmond Agricultural Society would like to give a huge thank you to Brett Kissel for coming to our fairgrounds and performing. We are all deeply saddened that we were not able to host a traditional fair this year, but we are still very grateful that together we could bring a day of fun and entertainment to the community.
