Thank goodness the sun is shining here today. My furnace is broken at Cranberry Stained Glass Studio & Supply and it is frickin cold out! My only heat is coming... from the kilns and the bright sun shining into my fishbowl studio. Repair guy is probably not going to make it today! I suspect they are backed up from the storm yesterday. It might be a cold start tomorrow! Anyway...this just out of the kiln, 8" Cape Breton Tartan. It will be online shortly! See more

Today...Carefully hand cutting resist to replicate a cabinet door glass that was broken. I do a piece or 2 at a time between tother tasks. Should be ready for sandblasting shortly.

All finished! Looking great. Good for another 120 years! Restoration with a few improvements. This ~8ft window was originally built in one piece and ultimately weighed itself down and buckled. We remodeled it and split it up into supported sections! Gravity does not have the room to fall far!...Hmmm... If only we could do this to our own body parts :)
