Hey there, it's Cam Rowland! This week I've been thinking a lot about taking action. In fact, a good friend of mine called me out this week on lack of taking action. And I gotta be honest with you.... I struggle with taking action What I mean by that there's a hundred things to do a day and you boil them down to the most important stuff. I still struggle with analysis paralysis. I still struggle with pre answering what the person on the other side is going to say and that pre...vents me from making the call or knocking on the door or making the ask or just being straight with people. So this really got to me this week, because as I've noticed that in the past, when I've got something important to do, and I know I need to do it (and I'm not talking about washing the car or taking the dog for a walk, I'm talking about something, that's going to move you towards your goals). You've got something that you need to do to move you towards your goals and you don't do it. And you sit there and you say to yourself "well I'll just quickly clean my hard drive". or "I'll just quickly reorganize my office for the third time" or any number of excuses of other little things that you come up with (I should check my Facebook account or check to see if my deal on Amazon is still there). But what I find is when I don't take action on stuff I know I need to do, that lowers my energy level and it lowers my self esteem, my belief in myself and in the ability to get it done. When my friend called me out on this week about this, I came up with a bunch of excuses. Are the excuses real? Absolutely. But they're still excuses. So, what do I need to be doing to take action towards my goals? I've chatted with many of you about where you want to be in six months or a year or what you want your next project to look like. And just like me, you struggle with taking action. And it's a human natural thing. When I looked into my life, when I need to take action and I put it off and then I finally do it, my energy level goes up. I get it done. Renovating this shower stall was more work than we all anticipated. They used stucco as the foundation (on top of drywall) on all surfaces including the wire mesh. Then they put on the mortar for the tiles. It must have been built during the Cold War. Now it’s rebuilt with Hardy backer board. I’m liking the polka dots now.

How would your financial situation change with having 8 new rental properties? I received a lead last week that a Tired & Frustrated landlord is looking for a creative way to unload his 8 properties (I think he has other properties too). I’m running a spreadsheet to start analyzing the deal. Running the numbers to see if they are viable and to figure out the best exit strategy. One of my favourite exit strategies is no-money-down Lease Options.... Back when I started using this powerful strategy (no-money-down Lease Options), I was able to do 4 of them in my first year which paid me upfront approx. $66,000 + generating over $1,100 a month in passive income. What I mean by that is you can help people who are having trouble selling or filling their property. They may not even want to sell right away, but you can structure a deal that's a win, win that you take a headache off of their hands and you make money off of it. You create a deal for yourself.
