Crysler Community Centre 05.12.2020

Hi Crysler Friends... All good things must come to an end. This Sunday we will be counting all the bottles and cans that you have donated once again. Last chance to bring your empties. With winter coming we will not be able to continue. I would like to thank each one of you for your generous donations during the last 6 months. When I first started this fundraiser, I told my wife if we raise $400-$500 it would be cool...well, you will have helped raise over $7,000 for our kids... park. Final numbers will be announced after the last pick-up. If we add this amount to the amount raised during the silent auction during the 2020 Carnival and to a generous donation, all new structures that have been bought and installed are now all paid for. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

Hi all, today we started some work in the kids play ground and tomorrow the township will start digging for the new structure. We ask that you tell your children to stay away from the work area that includes the train slide, mosquito climber and the 2 spring seats. We need to remove the sand and add the new safety surface. If you go to the park, please use the entrance on the Southside of TBO Place. The work might take a few weeks, so please make sure your kids are aware tha...t work is being done and to stay away from those areas. We thank you for your cooperation.

One more update: Weather is bad tonight due to storms so we will meet next week instead for our first parent-child yoga class. Update: We have enough families i...nterested to proceed this week with parent child yoga on Thursday from 7-8pm. Please bring your mat, water bottle, and bug stuff! If you will be away please send me a message so I will know if I need to cancel a week here or there. Drop-ins are welcome. Hi everyone, one Yoga update to share. I had a request to run parent child yoga night. I am willing to do this if there is enough interest. It will be a fun class where I hope we can laugh and try new things together. Kid friendly but parents are responsible for their children as we still need to maintain social distancing of 2m outside. It is charity yoga this summer, suggested donation is $10 per adult and kids are free (must be accompanied by a parent). Classes will run Thursday night from 7-8pm in Crysler outside near the gazebo, starting next week. I need confirmation that 10 people/families will come to run the class. Let me know if you are interested! I will confirm next week if we are going ahead.

Conservation Areas with boat, fishing and dock access remain closed FOR NOW based on advice of health authorities. Docks are seasonally installed later in May.... Please do not bypass closed gates. We hope to provide access as soon as we can, as temperatures warm up and once we receive the go-ahead from our public health partners. Several Conservation Area trails remain open and maintained for walking. We will provide updates as they become available; your patience, support and cooperation is appreciated.
