This rendering is hot off the press! I love the challenge of giving an old house a makeover! It’s all about working around the existing structure to find the balance between budget and design. Including a picture of the existing house.

Here is a 3D rendering of a project we are just completing design on. Objective was to redefine the entry while keeping existing doors and windows, new dining/living deck to replace entry deck roof, new carport, new master terrace above carport, convert existing garage to new bedroom/ensuite, and new fireplace design. Every step of the design process we showed the client realistic 3D renderings as we refined the design/budget.

Here are 2 houses that are approaching final design. Let me know your thoughts. The developer has giving me creative freedom to design a series of unique homes that make up the entire road. I've never designed a whole street of custom homes before, so this is a real honor! Very thankful to have been given such an amazing art project :)

Found this sketch hidden away in a folder. I did this concept for a client in Squamish a few years back.

Here's a detail on a house we did back in 2009. Just an idea for decorative rafters. Here I used a wider/shallower rafter look. A bit of a modern flare on the decorative rafter. The nice thing here is that the sun doesn't damage the ends as it does on exposed "deeper" beams/rafters.
