Happy we could contribute to such a dedicated team! A special thanks to our amazing paramedics who assisted and those who held down the frontlines so they could have an opportunity to do so #inthistogether
It’s okay to not be okay. Let’s work together to end the stigma and support Canadian mental health initiatives. #BellLetsTalk
We urge you to make the right choice. Stay home to protect yourself and others. Let’s save lives. Thank you to everyone at Stratford Hospital and the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance who participated in spreading this important message. #StayHomeON
Right now not all WSIB claims for paramedics are being accepted although we have constant exposure and risk of contracting COVID-19 among other illnesses. Paramedics work in unique environments not always allowing for a perfect PPE process. We cannot assume PPE protects us nor any other healthcare worker to its full extent, every time. There is a substantial amount of paperwork associated with every call and even more associated with a potential (or confirmed) exposure, yet... claims are still being denied. Bill 191, Workplace Safety and Insurance Amendment Act which would make it so that any essential service worker who contracts COVID-19 is presumed to have contracted it at work, allowing workers with COVID-19 to make WSIB claims.
Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Be sure to follow social distancing guidelines and practice safe & responsible driving.
Today we take a moment to remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives in the deadliest terror attack in history. We will not forget the bravery and courage of the firefighters, paramedics, and police officers who lost their lives that day. Our hearts go out to their friends and family members. #wewillnotforget
Honoured that we could take part in the Paramedic Memorial Bell Ceremony and express our gratitude for the sacrifices first responders make everyday and to honour those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Wishing everyone a happy and safe long weekend! A special thanks to all of our wonderful staff working today
