**Important update** Osteopathy treatments are not permitted during the upcoming lockdown period in Ontario from December 26th to January 23rd, 2021. If you have an Osteopathy appointment during that time, you will be contacted to either reschedule your appointment OR switch to a Massage Therapy Treatment which IS allowed during the lockdown period. I know these restrictions are confusing but it's important that I follow all the rules to ensure I am fulfilling my professi...onal obligations. Hello to my lovely clients!! I miss all of you very much! I've been limiting my posts here because I think we've all had enough COVID-19 Updates (from every single business we've ever visited...ever...). I'm monitoring all of latest public health information and Government updates for Ontario and Quebec. At this time Massage Therapy and Osteopathy are not included in the Phase 1 of reopening in either province.... The very nature of our treatments (direct contact in a confined space) poses a very high risk of transmission of the virus. Some of the preliminary return to work protocols that I have seen will require very significant changes to how treatments will be delivered for the foreseeable future. More information will be shared when I announce my official start date. I will likely be returning to a very reduced schedule and I will be taking all appropriate measures to ensure your safety, my safety and the safety of the public at large. If we all continue doing our part, the numbers will continue to decrease and my next message may be an announcement of a start date. ***My online schedule is open for June, but I will only resume my practice once the government gives us the go ahead AND I have put in place all safety measures - you will be contacted if your appointment needs to be pushed back*** Chers clients. Hello lovely clients. I hope everyone is staying safe and sane during these unprecedented times. I have returned from Mexico on March 18th after an incredibly stressful week of trying to get home earlier. The situation was much different when I left on March 2nd with only 20 reported COVID-19 cases across the entire country at the time. I am home safe and sound, and so far, symptom free! I am following all public health recommendations and self isolating inside my home f...or the next 2 weeks. In addition to this, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) have recommended ceasing all non-urgent treatments until further notice. My schedule is officially shut down until April 15th (I will adjust this date as necessary). If you had an upcoming appointment, you should have received a cancellation email. I will contact you once the situation improves and I have the ok to resume regular clinic activities. **I am looking into the possibility of offering live one on one video chat session for stretching and strengthening recommendations.
