Aakíí isskská’takssin Woman - thought This is photographic series by two Alberta artists that explore emerging Indigenous artistic practice within the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy.... Star Crop Eared Wolf captures moments of teaching between generations. Marjie Crop Eared Wolf disrupts racist graffiti with pictographs inspired by her Blackfoot and Shuswap heritage. This exhibition is at the Kiwanis Performing Art Centre from October 13 to Nov 4. This is brought to you by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie and the Dawson Creek Art Gallery.

You build it...we'll blow it up! This fun and safe engineering challenge is open to builders and creators of all ages. We invite you to stop by the Dawson Creek Art Gallery to pick up a free building kit (or engineer a creation with your own supplies). Creations will be brought back to the Gallery for Obliteration. Obliteration will be conducted by trained professionals at a safe location, they will be recorded and posted to FB for maximum enjoyment! This engineering challenge has been made possible by the generous support (and creative work) of Matthew Rivard, Hank Bridgeman and Outer Limits Fireworks
