Here’s my plug for shopping local! I am so grateful that I can find all of the things I need right here in my town....supporting the local businesses helps them... survive and thrive and helps me so I don’t have to drive somewhere else or wait for what I need! This week, I was able to grab some breakfast @sweetgrassdeli, lunch @94takethecake, some art supplies @paintworksart.okotoks, some coffee beans @rebelbeancoffee , some gifts for new little niece @averydelightful boutique, this new sweater @mintmapleshop, necklace by @deavabeadzboutique , earrings by @copperantlerjewelry and will be heading over to @cdbloomstudio , @gingerlaurier @fisher_crescent_retail , @austensok Jenny Dale Designs@theshoeclosetokotoks @thelmaandthistle @Rhoda sokotoks @homeworks_custom_interiors to search for more gifts I’m sure. (And @linehamhousegalleries probably has a few gifts too). Probably stop @hub_town_brewing at some point! (And I haven’t even mentioned the many amazing restaurants like @plakaokotoks @phohoaiokotoks Bistro 1882 @heartlandcaferestaurant and more....). It’s nice to find unique, good quality items that will last, so I don’t have to buy a lot, just a special item or two. And it’s so cool to get asked if I need a refreshment while shopping, and sometimes even get a hug! (Not to mention someone to bring me outfits to try on (I need help!) and tells me the truth if it doesn’t suit me, lol).
