Dear Luther Community: I was very sad to receive the news about the death of Verna Glebe, wife of longtime Luther faculty member and principal-dean the late Rev.... Dr. Delton Glebe. I am so grateful for her steadfast support of Delton over the years, and for the ways in which her loving presence and generosity impacted her family, church and community. I am also happy that she was able to participate in the opening of The Delton Glebe Counselling Centre in 2013, and that she could attend a number of our annual breakfast events. For her years of work in the seminary office, I am also thankful. On behalf of everyone at Martin Luther University College, as interim principal-dean, I give Verna's family and friends our heartfelt condolences. The entire community, beyond the walls of our school and churches, is healthier for having Verna and Delton among us. As we participate in the development of those who will serve the needs of the broader community, we are committed to carrying on their legacy. Sincerely, Rev.
