The long anticipated wait is over!! We’re proud to announce that Gale Gand & Dan Smith will be curating our menu for Dinner With A View in Chicago. Gale Gand (@chefgalegand) is a nationally acclaimed pastry chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, teacher and television personality. She has received two James Beard Awards and was inducted into the American Academy of Chefs and the Chicago Chefs Hall of Fame. She co-founded and partnered in the renowned Chicago restaurant TRU,... which had two stars from the Michelin Guide. Known for her eight-year stint as the host of Sweet Dreams, Food Network’s first program devoted to desserts, and her eight delightful cookbooks, Gand attended the La Varenne cooking school in Paris and now can often be seen cooking at food and wine festivals and charity events around the world. Dan Smith (@heartyboys) is an acclaimed chef-owner of three Michelin recommended restaurants and is a passionate chef who runs a right but comfortable kitchen. Running The Hearty Boys Caterers with is partner Chef Steve McDonagh, he has brought his keen eye and trend-setting sensibilities to Chicago events for more than two decades.
