3:45 PM ADT Monday 31 August 2020 Frost advisory in effect for: Stanley - Doaktown - Blackville Area Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.... Minimum temperatures: plus 1 to plus 3 celsius in low lying areas. Locations: New Brunswick. Time span: Early Tuesday morning. Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form as clear skies and light winds coincide with cool temperatures, especially in low lying areas. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops. Doaktown Community Garden 28.11.2020

Paid a visit to Doaktown Community Garden and ran into Brenda Munn who works so hard to keep this project going. It has improved each year she has been involved.... Kudos to the volunteers and the community members who are growing food in these plots. Beautiful job. Brenda says they are in need of maybe an electric fence; it seems the local deer have taken a liking to the vegetables too. Maybe someone can help them out. See more

Alerts fo...r: Stanley - Doaktown - Blackville Area Warnings 4:43 AM ADT Thursday 18 June 2020 Heat Warning in effect for: Stanley - Doaktown - Blackville Area Temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius combined with overnight lows near 20 degrees Celsius are expected for the next 3 days. Hot weather is expected to continue. Time span: continuing into Friday and Saturday. Maximum daytime temperatures: 31 to 35 degrees Celsius (Humidex 36 to 39) on Thursday and Friday. Cooler conditions are expected along parts of the coast. Minimum overnight temperatures: 20 to 23 degrees Celsius. Locations: New Brunswick. Remarks: Very high temperatures will dominate over New Brunswick for the next two days. The warmest conditions are expected to occur over most areas today and Friday.
