Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form as clear skies and light winds coincide with cool temperatures, especially in low lying areas. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops. Paid a visit to Doaktown Community Garden and ran into Brenda Munn who works so hard to keep this project going. It has improved each year she has been involved.... Kudos to the volunteers and the community members who are growing food in these plots. Beautiful job. Brenda says they are in need of maybe an electric fence; it seems the local deer have taken a liking to the vegetables too. Maybe someone can help them out. See more
