Central Okanagan Food for Thought is continuing to feed school children whose families relied on school food programs that are no longer available because of COVID-19. Food for Thought is working on preparing food packages for families who rely on breakfast, snack, lunch and backpack programs (food taken home for the weekend) at now-closed schools. Currently there are over 5900 children at risk of food insecurity in the Central Okanagan right now.
