The Gift in Dresden and area will be supporting the Legion Christmas Baskets this year! They are a longstanding Dresden tradition. On November 21st at noon, i...f you are able, place your gift on your front porch and it will be picked up by a volunteer that afternoon. Here are some of the suggested gifts. THE GIFT/DRESDEN SHINES..... Two pretty simple phrases. Yesterday I learned they are far from that. I have always known what a giving and supportive community ...Dresden and area has been for us at the Legion. But the true impact this community can make, was never more apparent then yesterday. Thank you to those who donated and to those that volunteered to help make "The Gift" happen. You have succeeded in providing the families in need all the makings of a truly special Christmas season.
