We are all working together to get through these challenging times of 2020. Our office has always maintained high standards of sterilization and infection control, however in light of COVID-19 Pandemic, we have implemented the following additional protocols as per BCCD guidelines. The office door is locked at all times. You must ring the door bell for staff to greet you and escort you to your treatment room. All patients and clinic employees are COVID-19 screened and ha...ve their daily temperatures taken and recorded upon arrival. All appointments must be pre-booked. No walk ins allowed. The number of people permitted in the clinic is limited. One parent can accompany a minor. Appointments are spaced to allow for additional sanitizing time and safe distancing between patient appointments. Hand sanitizers are positioned throughout the entire office. All patients and team members are required to hand sanitize or wash their hands before treatment. PPE is worn during your procedure. An oral pre-rinse is given to patients before appointments to reduce exposure. All magazines and reception room items have been removed to decrease touch surfaces. Barrier guards are installed at the front desk reception area and between operatories. Enhanced disinfection procedures of all office areas and equipment that may be touched during your visit such as computer keyboards, pens, light fixtures, payment terminal, door knobs railings etc. Washrooms are sanitized regularly after use.
