I really like my customers proposed colour change!

My guys did a beautiful job for this long time Dr.Roof customer. Coursing straight, vents in line and properly fastened, flashings replaced not just smearing the old ones with tar. See you again in 25 years Ma’am.

I ran into this situation on a simple vent replacement the other day. The clothes dryer vent was run up through the attic and out onto the roof. This is never a good idea, but sometimes you have to because of the design of the building. If this is the case, the correct vent needs to be installed and the duct should be cleaned at least once a year. This vent was almost totally plugged and a disaster waiting to happen.

Look at this little beauty that visited me during a roof inspection today! I never would have noticed if I wasn’t doing a flashing inspection.

Our friends over at Top Gun Chimney Service sent this picture. Opening up a chimney and finding this at 8am wakes up up in a hurry! Lucky it was a dead hive. Great picture! Thanks for sharing.
