What happened to the egg after it was told a funny joke? It cracked up! Today we decorated some Easter eggs! We tried a few different methods, stickers, painting regularly and painting with a stencil. The kids had a egg-travagant time.
We had so much fun transforming ourselves into bunnies this afternoon!
Today we worked on our fine motor skills by making some felt bunnies! Each child was given the same felt pieces and a glue stick and placed each peice on their own. Learning to use glue develops hand-eye coordination and fine motor planning skills. It also helps your child understand the sensory concept of stickiness. This is important cognitive development between the ages of 24 and 30 months.
We started our circus theme this week! Made some paper lions, a bag of popcorn and did some fun gross motor circus actions
We always practice walking across the street the safest way. Hold hands and stay together

Today is National Provider Appreciation Day! We would never be able to do what we love to do on a regular basis without our dayhome families, and for that we wanted to thank you for the daily support and appreciation. Our dayhome families makes our days worth it and watching the kids grow and develop skills brings us a happiness that words can not describe. Thank you again and we love you all.

Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't. If you are fighting, or have fought cancer be proud of your strength.
